JoDon Romero led police on an 80-mile, high-speed chase after an armed carjacking, at times firing at officers. The chase posed a significant, ongoing threat to public safety. Fox News Network, LLC (Fox) provided live national coverage of the event from a helicopter. At the conclusion of the chase, Romero exited his vehicle and committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.
